During the year, children go on a variety of field trips. For example, during summer 2000, our preschool and school-aged children went to zoos, the beach at Smith Mountain Lake, the Lynchburg Public Library, and the Railroad Museum in Roanoke. Sometimes, a small, nominal fee is charged to parents for these trips. The Center is currently seeking funds to purchase one or two small buses to transport children on these trips.
