To ensure diversity, EELC's tuition plan makes the Center accessible to children from all economic levels. Depending upon income, families pay 100, 60, or 30 percent of the tuition rate. The age of the child is also a factor. Slightly higher fees are charged for infant care due to the required smaller adult-to-child ration. A separate fee schedule applies to elementary-age children through age ten who participate in such after school and summer programs as music, art, creative dramatics, and active play.
Family tuition fees cover only a portion of the EELC operating budget. An endowment partially supports operational costs. Scholarship programs have also benefited from the support of community members. However, additional contributions are needed on a regular basis to ensure that EELC, a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization, will be able to meet future needs. EELC's 2000 weekly rates:
Infants - $105.00 School Age (ages 5-10)
